BLACK MOUNTAIN TRAIL NETWORK
We hope that experiencing Black Mountain allows each user to interact with our unique local natural and cultural history, and many of our trail names endeavor to capture aspects of the Nordegg story.

TRAIL LIST AND STATUS
Black Mountain trails and their status are available here and on Trailforks
(trail forks.com) and their current status. Efforts are made to keep the list current but always ride with caution. Please enjoy the trails and respect any trail closures on the mountain.

SHUTTLE ROAD STATUS
When the Black Mountain Shuttle Road is opened, it will provide vehicle access to most of the trail network's trailheads. Status and conditions will be updated to provide a current status.

NETWORK SIGNAGE, DIFFICULTY
AND PROGRESSION
The Black Mountain Trail Network utilizes IMBA standards and the Mountain Biking Trail Difficulty Matrix to designate its trails. These colour coded difficulty ratings along with trail descriptions and signage build safety and consistency into the network. Each colour rating incorporates a wide range of style of trail and difficulty. Our goal is to build a progressive and inclusive network where you can have fun and be challenged at all levels.
